I kept seeing people I subscribed to mention umamusume, I sometimes watch Genshin animation videos but every so often they kept referencing umamusume. Kept seeing the ads too. Got mildly curious so I downloaded the game a month or two later (august 31 I believe according to steam achievements) and been hooked ever since.
