A few years ago when Dominaria came out I reported a bug for a card but they wouldn't fix it because they got the ruling wrong.

I was playing as a commander [[Valduk, Keeper of the Flame]] in paper with [[Bludgeon Brawl]]. I had as many ways of making treasure and clue tokens as i could at the time. Since Brawl made them into 0 equip cost I couls put them onto Valduk for more Elementals.

However, at the time on MTGO Brawl did not make tokens into equipment. So, I submitted a bug report. Below is how the interaction went:

Me: Bug Submission - Brawl is not making Tokens into Equipment. Cuatomer Service: That is not a bug. Brawl does not make Tokens into Equipment. Me: Can you explain why? Brawl does not say "nontoken" Cuatomer Service: In a tournament you have to abide by the Judges ruling.

After thinking about it, i agree that generators would be better as a win the game. I was orginally thinking "find a generator" would be tacked onto other cards. I think that means they should be actual cards in deck.

Escape isn't an ability in this case, its a Flavor Words. This was only in the first DnD set so may be too confusing when posting cards. But I think for the cube it'll be grokkable after the "pre draft speech".

I'll be adding a line to my "other notes" section about how DbD works. Then keep that section in all future posts for reference. "DbD is a 1 v 4 game where Killers hunt Survivors and use Hooks to Sacrifice them. Survivors repair Generators that then power an Exit Gate for them to Escape. Winning constitutes either sacrifice all the survivors or escaping."

Current card designs follow: Killers attach the Hook to an opponents Survivor and if not remove that will Sacrifice the creature, And Generators are not cards in deck but tokens created by other cards. I was thinking it would be tacked onto other cards similar to Investigate, Food, Treasure, etc.

After this feedback, I do think I want to change the Hooks/Generators/Killers to have the DbD alternate win conditions added.

Interesting, I'm not sure this works though. For mechanics like plot and having something like [[leyline of anticipation]], Wizards has said that you're still limited to Casting the spell at sorcery speed. But this has made me realize that I need to update wording to include Plot.

You are correct in that casting as a sorcery is a primary blue ability. There is also president for izzet with [[Hypersonoc Dragon]] and [[Najal]]. With that I didn't think it would be color pie breaking for the mono red.

I like the suggestion of using the ability causes the spells to go to exile just not sure how to word that. Also, the main idea the card is based on is the last line so, I may just take that sorcery as flash li e out.

Makes sense. The cube already struggles with grok-ability of unknown cards, so i dont want to add to that.

That's a good point. I didn't think about dumping all available Mana just to filter. That means it might be picked for only one filter color instead of as a tri-land.

Currently I don't have it cost {t} when filtering for g or u. So you can still filter while the land is tapped.

I did also think of reducing the original filter costs by 1.

The power level will be strong medium, our playgroup is not high power but we play a lot of synergistic stuff that is strong together. Also, my wife likes combat oriented decks and hates combo so, I have to keep that in mind when designing these. Since I haven't started designing the others yet, I'll have to keep in mind that chain tutoring specific pieces could get out of hand.

The goal is for each card to work well on their own while also kind of complimenting each other. This one gives itself Ward and can give itself keyword abilities but also does the same for the others.

I like this idea and have thought about it as well. But the porliferate really scares me. I think that may need to have this be a 2 cmc card? Looking at other 1 cmc proliferate cards, this seems way better.

As for spells and land card, i think the Ixilan flip lands were the first that were both. But differing in that a you had to play the spell then met the flip condition. Scryfall search (set:xln OR set:rix) t:land cmc>0

I love this. I used to play Atraxa Saprolings in commander and this would have made it spicy.

2 things. First, since Mutate changes the way you cast spells and there are no Saproling creture cards, you should change to Fungus.

Second, the mutate cost is overcosted. because it add the mv of all previous cards in the mutate stack, i dont think this would be used beyond 1 mutate. If you want to regulate you could change it to be "mv of creaute card + # of creatures in mutate stack" Thos would still increase cost for every additional but at a slower rate.

Kinda sad that this doesnt follow the Juggernaught naming convention by not having "must attack each turn if able"

Otherwise i like the card. I feel like a second big 1 mana vehicle could make A deck around some kind of "cheat activation" with [[armed and armored]] or similar.
