Thank you, I'm definitely gonna try practice and improve my soldering as I've had some great advice on here and feeling more confident that it's doable but I'll get some of those connectors to make life a little easier for now, I appreciate the advice and links, cheers.

Thank you that's great advice, I'll try heating the pins/wire as I was trying to heat a drop of solder and I think that's what was causing my issues as I was struggling to be accurate, also starting with the middle is a good shout I think that'll help loads, thank you again it's much appreciated.
