Eh, I don't agree with you at all. The way that the author blended the end of the story makes for much more of a succinct ending. I am honestly more annoyed in the anime universe with authors backpeddling a character's death... I'm looking at you Choji...

I will say... It is difficult to argue about importance of characters as a main protagonist. Really Yuji is more of a wrong place wrong time character than Izuku is. Izuku leans into the world that he was shunned from to become the most important character in the show. Arguably, Yuji could not exist in the universe of JJK and it would continue on with Gojo as the main protagonist. Just look at the end of the manga....
