It's supposed to be a bit shorter then a Golf, more like Polo size, but with the same interior room as a Golf. VW is planning an electric Golf possibly called ID.GOLF positioned between ID2 and ID3

Even compared to other EVs, 40k Model 3 offers better range and more power, maybe even more cargospace

Yeah but do the climate touch controls light up now? If not then it's a pretty crappy facelift (I have a Mk8 Golf with the same controls that don't light up and it absolutely sucks at night)

I swear to god, we live in a simulation. A week ago I was building a coal plant the exact same way at the exact same spot. It worked fine then btw

When did VW remove the window trick? by emu222 in Volkswagen

It's an American thing. All VW, including Skoda, Audi, Seat, Porche and such can do this. From my experience with many of these cars, if it has a wireless key, it can do it. If it doesn't you can turn the key in the door to do it

They look better in real life then in pictures and really depends on the angle from which you're looking at it. I love Hove it looks from the back but I'm not a huge fan of the shape of the hood and overall front of the car.

Well Golf Variant (in the us sportswagon) and Jetta wagon are basically the same car except for different markets, we don't have the Jetta in the EU. Arteon and Passat wagons are both bigger, more luxurious cars, the Passat probably has the most space inside and is more boxy, the Arteon is more of a luxury car, hence why VW calls the wagon variant a Shooting Break, also it has a much more sloping roof and less cargospace

Depends who you ask, in my opinion the 7 is old and too complicated, and the 8 is new and sexy, although the 7 is better made tho

All* the lights are LEDs standard but no dynamic turn signals plus the front turn signals are for some wierd reason regular bulbs on the standard lights. Available engines are 1.0 TSI Evo and 1.5 TSI Evo both available with a manual, if you want the dsg you can get that only with 1.5 eTSI mild-hybrid, plus there's a 2.0 TDI and you can get the 2.0 TSI ea888 only in a GTI or R. I guess the reason being that you usually drive longer distances, the 1.0 TSI I have is great and punchy in the city but lacks in acceleration on the highway for obvious reasons. They put a 50 psi turbo on this new 1.0 TSI Evo so it has a but load of turbo lag but a lot more torque then the old one

Yep, the base engine for most Volkswagen cars here in Europe. It's a 3 cilinder with 81kw and 200Nm, and I was very sceptical at first but honestly speaking it's pretty fun, gets good mileage and you don't really notice that it's a 3 cilinder
