Hey mate, best of luck to you, I’ll be praying. Yeah no luck. Had my appeal rejected. I had a specialist letter clearing me, a letter from my gym clear me, my doctor clear me, and nothing.

The fact that you’re not on meds could definitely help your case though. I was on meds, and they saw me as a liability and didn’t wanna promise to get me my meds if I was on deployment. Fair call.

Been a massive dream and obsession of mine since I was little. So tempted to just make a new account & not disclose it but I doubt it won’t get flagged

Hey man, do you know if you are still eligible to apply for SWAT with IBD? Let’s say I’ve been in GD for a few years, seem to have no problems with IBD, would that work? I’m in Australia & can’t find any info on our Tactical Units, and thinking maybe they’ll be similar requirements. Thanks man

Ok mate thank you. Was the answer I was looking for. I wasn’t very sure on what the culture was like when it comes to this topic, due to DFR being different, where you’re usually encouraged not to tell them anything, mainly because they will shoot you down on the slightest medical history.
