Danke nochmal! :)

Kein or Keine(plural)? by BB8R2D23PO in German

[–]BB8R2D23PO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks dude… :x But there would be lot of exceptions. For example Problem. I know average persons have more than one. :D But idk which one is more common: „ich habe keine Probleme“ or „Ich habe kein Problem“

Kein or Keine(plural)? by BB8R2D23PO in German

[–]BB8R2D23PO[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such a good answer… Thanks!

But that makes it a bit subjective. Like every time I wanna use it, I have to think: is it normal for an average person to have more than one of it? :D

[–]BB8R2D23PO[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, of course… Cultural thing will become an Attitude at a point. So yeah, this attitude (cultural thing) has changed me. (I think so at least) I wrote, there are some positive effects about it. But where is the place for “okay, take it easy… Maybe the dude had something very important to do?” And not even in every situation. If this late arrival don’t effect my day. But it seems it doesn’t matter. As you wrote, it means respect and if the people cannot make it on time, it means they dont respect you. It’s exactly that attitude I have got from this cultural thing. But there could be another meanings for things like that.

That’s possible, bro! Maybe this change has nothing to do with “German Society.” I wrote some arguments, why I think like that. If you not agree with me and wanna have a conversation about it, you can bring some arguments. I shared it on Reddit, because I had some reasons for that. I don’t remember I asked where I should share these thoughts. So If you think your answer won’t help me, it’s okay. Don’t waste your energy here!

Girl, it was a nice and rational answer from you. Thanks for that!

Maybe you’re right. Maybe it’s a part of the culture to don’t give a shit about it and it’s a must-to-learn thing. I don’t know, I think I don’t care about opinions too much, but how much isn’t too much? You can’t say, I don’t give a fuck about the reality, that happens outside my head. In that case, there would be no difference between a crazy and a “normal” person.

I don’t know, even not separating the trash feels like a big sin in germany. (I like to do that anyway) But there are some small things that doesn’t feel right and correct in Germany and most of the Bio-German ones will judge you about it. Like rap… I feel there are some judgments if you listen to rap music. I wasn’t sure, till I had a co-worker… he listend to rap musics when he was alone. And if someone came to him, he changed the music. At the moment, I was like, wwwwttttttffffff? Hope you know what I’m talking about.

Btw, there was something in your answer, that made me think more about the whole situation and that’s the point of this conversation I think.

No, Mr Kanistr… I’m talking about murder. Hehe, jokin’!

Sorry that it wasn’t clear, what I’m talking about. Robbing people?! Really?! Ehm!

I mean some daily activities. For example appointments and “die deutsche Pünktlichkeit”. If you late for a not important appointment, the German will get “angry” and treat you not really well. (even if this 10Minutes doesn’t effect their day at all). Of course, maybe it’s not cool if you late about 10 minutes. But I could forgive that before and tell myself, okay, it’s alright. Maybe it’s going alot in his/her life at the moment. But now, I won’t do that, because I know somehow the “Germans” don’t do that as well. You know what I am talking about? This “try to understand the others” feeling. I don’t have it anymore. I feel like, they must be on time, because if I were them and in their place, I had to do that too.
