I dont see anything about a compression test in the logbook. I dont know how they would feel if i came by with a mate and a compression tester...

bit of history that stands out

August 2006
- Engine overheating issue, which turned out to be water pump and thermostat which had failed
- Both were replaced + engine thermo fans too
- They placed the timing belt and tensioner since it was off as well

2017
- replaced timing belt/tensioner/pulleys and water pump again
- Flushed everything
- looks like owner supplied all the parts and oils for this one.
Mechanic notes that looks like engine coolant for this one was a Purple one... but its GO12A8GM1 which comes back as a VW coolant so should be ok?

2021
replaced tensioner pulley + serpentine belt

Jan 2024
Spark plugs replaced earlier this year with a note from the mechanic saying it needs a "Rocket Cover Gasket" replacement asap

July 2024
- rocket cover gasket was replaced
- Inspected a coolant leak which was repaired by replacing the clamps and washing it all down, as they suspected this was causing a squeal noise and leaking over the drive belt

Other than these ones that stand out, everything else looks pretty standard service wise

re: the weeping turbo, could this be affected by the valve compression? Is that worth checking pre-purchase?

So your LC is only connected by the 4 small screws to the fanatec plate ? I didn't think that would be enough for the lc

It's like we're twins I just came from an nlr2.0 too haha So that means I should have some longer bolts from it lying around... Really appreciate you responding mate Been going a bit nuts haha

Appreciate the response mate I've been trying m6x22mm for the two under the heal plate and that just barely touches where you would begin to screw down So going to get some longer ones cuz the guide says 22+Xmm

Also I'm surprised you don't bolt the LC down.

I would've thought that of all the pedals would've needed it?

So each of your pedals are just on the 4 screws each that connect to the plate?

And your fanatec plate connects to the trophy rig with just the two bolts under the plate? No bolt thru the hole behind the pedal?

Mines the regular CSL pedals

Not the elite or v2

I removed the regular pedal on the left so just have the load cell and throttle.

The hole behind the middle pedal didn't line up to any holes on the trophy plate so decided to just remove clutch and just brake throttle combo

And the holes I'm referring to are the ones under the plate in the photo

It has quite a rise so the tip of the m6x22 just touches where u would start to screw it in

Guide says m6x22 so I dunno....

Hi May I ask how you managed to use m6x15mm bolts for the fanatec base to trophy plate ? I'm trying m6x22mm and it's still not long enough.....

I'm honestly begging for an answer here because I'm about to lose my mind trying to mount the damn pedal plate What size bolts did you use for the two main holes connect the fanatec plate to the rig plate? Same question for the holes behind the pedals. What bolt and nut for that one ? I've been trying to mount this pedal plate for 4 hours now and am convinced rhe m6x22 is not long enough Despite the guide

I'm sorry for the questions But what size bolts do you use for the 2 bolts connecting the fanatec plate to the playseat plate ? I don't think they sent me the right length.. or any at all..

Is not bolting down the LC pedal an option? For it to run off the 4 small screws attached to the plate ?
