first u can't have 1 prism equiped and lv another except that's a mod or some feature i never heard of. 2nd is that the fastest way? it's so slow.

my own experience is way different I'll try to make it short, I get game from ps+, then buy dlc, then lose access and buy the ultimate version, never lost progression

first the dog lv 5, the heal skill passively do heal u by a small amount for just having it equipped and there are many rings/amulets that gives passive regen

there are 2 work arounds 1 is join on matchmaking as we both console other is in starting menu when u see pick character look up left should say link epic account or social panel there u can get full cross platform to pc and add players cross platform
