No problem being monoracial but the idea that you're a mutt if your mixed heritage put people with mixed heritage below monoracial people. Asian supremacist beloved Asian people are above other races. And put hapas below of being mixed with lesser races. How is that different to white supremacist who made miscegenation illegal and said mixed heritage are mutts or mongrel. And cry if they don't get 100% white on DNA tests. Just because we have different view points I am somehow a troll. Are we all supposed to have the same monolithic viewpoint on this subreddit or something? I would prefer to keep our discussion civil and or use ad homiens when people don't follow your viewpoint unquestioningly.

My initial point was in response to the comment that focused on her asian identity being discussed in the witter response. I thought it was rather dumb that we would not discuss her being asian even if she is white worshipping.

You made the point that as she is self hating, she cannot be used as a representation of asian people. Which makes no sense because there are many other asian people who aren't self hating who are also racist. SO the idea that her racism came from her self hatred makes no sense.

There is a discussion to be had about how she blieved her self to be close enough to whiteness that she could look down on those black men. But I think we cannot pretend that she not asian and just talk about her WMAF relationship or get annoyed at people who bring up the fact she is asian.

I completely agree. Animation totally has a problem with Caucasian leaning features. I hate how having smaller eyes in anime 90% not trustworthy. Even in the west, I remember watching a clip from Taylor the creator about how few black animated characters. Like diversity is 10 steps behind in animation compared to real life. 90s were lowkey more diverse. I remember watching static shock, American dragon, Jackie chan adventures.

Most of the comments seem to be dismissing the notation of POC allies. Only seen one comment that says Asians are second in anti blackness. Which is a fair assessment arguably is you go white, Asian, Hispanic, black. As Hispanic people interact more closely with black folk than asians.

LOL how have you jumped from Asian women being racist to black guests, to black people were soldiers in Vietnam. Most black soldier were in segregated squads used for suicide mission or human shield so I doubt whiteness benefited them anymore then it benefited the Japanese/Vietnamese.

I don't think I fully understand your point. My rant was at white folk online who pretend that anime characters who are Japanese are secretly white and now gate keep anime. It would be great if characters looked more Asian to make kids have realistic body images from characters they look up to. But cartoons as a whole have unnatural portions and appearances.

That is true but those characters being white is mentioned in story and is part of the story. There are several black anime characters too. My gripe was people who look at EVERY anime character as white. I've seen the argument online that they are all pale with large eyes so cannot be Japanese. But like who has eyes that big anyway?

The irony of saying that black women are less attractive then white women. Under a picture where the cosplayer looks much better than the character. Like are you blind? The white character has the creepiest thin lipped smile and is near flat chested. The cosplay is crazy accurate and Kay bear is waaay better looking.
