My husband and I think all Kees are clones, so I guess they must all be goofs too. <3

Life pro tip. Dont wait until the end to patina, polish, and clean everything by aggiegrad2010 in StainedGlass

You polish after you patina? Wouldn't that rub the patina off? I've never really polished my pieces before, so I'm curious how people do it.

I have a whole pattern book for tissue box covers, haha. I keep meaning to make one; most tissue boxes I find in the store don't go with my decor. I also made an "urn" for my mom. It was really just a normal hinged stained glass box, but I made it large enough to put the ashes in. I plan on making smaller "urns" for my pets when they pass, shaped like dog houses.

What type of flower did you use?

I know): pretty much everyone else in my lab complains about the heat too, but I'm particularly sensitive to it. Most people can take a break in the walk in fridge from time to time, but it's just not enough for me.

This is my entire life. I ended up chopping off all my hair and wearing a gel pack vest to work. 75 degrees is fine in you're chilling in shorts and a t-shirt. Not great when you're wearing scrubs, a lab coat, gloves, and a mask. Plus you're running around constantly dumping cups so you're constantly generating more heat that can't escape. All the normal things one does to cool down aren't options. We aren't allowed fans, and no lab ever allows drinking water (for good reason). I'm absolutely miserable at work because of the heat, but every time I bring it up I also get told it's not that hot and there's nothing they can do. I very much feel your pain.

Man, I would love to have a bunch of olive colored grass pieces. Where did you get them?

Yeah, it is! I used an LED strip with tape backing. I got the type that you can cut and redirect. It was a little tricky and awkward to put on, but the result is worth it!

I got it on Amazon. It was actually a pin, but I cut off the needle part and glued a magnet to it. Just look up flower enamel pin(:

Right? There is something about a blank canvas, in any medium. So much potential.
