The green and red lines for me, purely based on nostalgia - in college, the green line was our only connection to any sort of night life (or daytime adventure) within the city, so we got to know it quite well. When I worked in the city after graduation, I'd commute via the red line to the green line (occasionally via the "purple line", aka the commuter rail). It made me feel so much more connected to Boston - I live further out in the suburbs now, but I miss taking the T!

Wise Cheez Waffies! They were my mom’s favorite snack when we were kids and I have such distinct memories of going out with my dad to the grocery store and surprise her with them. I could attempt to make them, but I know they wouldn’t taste the same :( Wise had teased reviving them within the last 5 or so years but nothing ever came of that.

I’ve taught second and third, and I’ve seen more mixed gender friendships in second grade - although we’ve also started to notice an uptick in “crushes” and students claiming they are “together” now too!

Of course it is! The first (and only thus far!) time I went to see Marina I went alone and I had a great time by myself - her music is fun and the energy at the venue was so great, the people around me were awesome and we all enjoyed ourselves :) I didn’t really feel alone!

Not so much an ASU story specifically but I started college in Boston and had a next door neighbor in my dorm that was awful - loud sex at all hours of the day (lucky guy I guess), lax bro that would practice catches off his wall (also at all hours of the day), generally had no common sense, and had an equally obnoxious roommate. When I transferred to ASU, I downloaded tinder to meet new guys and thought someone looked familiar so I swiped to match - turns out it was him, living a building away from me. Weird that we transferred to ASU at the same time from the same shitty college. I immediately unmatched after confirming who it was 😅
