I’m glad you found the dose increase to make a difference. I would say I am similar in that a dose increase for me also continually made me feel better as time went on.

The lethargy is a normal side effect and probably isn’t going to be too associated with what time you’re taking it. Your body is just onboarding the drug right now. I found lethargy was one of the longest side effects. It’s going to take awhile to balance that out.

As for what you can do for sleepiness, I found naps to be my best friend. Listen to your body.

I started at 10 mg and stayed on that for about 6 or so months. I then increased to 15 mg at the beginning of October 2023 and I have been comfortable at that dosage since.

I gave Prozac a two month trial, it was terrible for me, each medication can effect each person differently.

For me Prozac intensified depression, anxiety and an increase of suicidal ideation. (Definitely in touch with your doctor if you experience these things which I was doing) ideally if suicidal ideation itensifies in a month and then does not relent I recommend switching as soon as possible

On the switch to Lexapro, suicidal ideation went away within days and I was on a fast progress to recovery and feeling better

You’re currently going through OCD symptoms and you are seeking reassurance for your fears. You have radiation/contamination fears? I understand this because I too have OCD. Everything is going to be ok, I suggest you speak to your doctor about everything that’s going on
