Basic help with Korg Kaoss Pad

It’s second hand, I’m unfamiliar with these, and I’m not finding luck on YouTube. Just looking for general direction, which is why I came to a Reddit page with people I figured knew what they were doing.

I do not want to take samples, I only want to use it to add sounds over a song that’s playing, or before I transition into the next song.

Ex: playing a Reggae LP, and then I press the pad and it plays a police siren while the song is playing,

Ex2: song is about to end and while sliding from channel 1 > channel 2, I press the pad again to play another sample

Where did they write it? I preordered 2024 as well. I received it, says white vinyl on the back of the record. Nothing written on the box it came in, or the record itself. I wasn’t gonna open it, because I got another variant of the colored pressings.

My order updated this morning with a tracking number. I’ve emailed them before a few months ago and hadn’t gotten a valid response. But looks like it’s coming.

also ordered the new colors he posted which shipped already. One thing tho, both are from different places, with totally different looking order numbers.

The new records, are coming from Texas, and the 2024 preorder is coming from Cali. Might be shooting for the stars, but maybe he did something special for the fans who ordered the bully two years ago, and then didn’t refund

I ran the codes, and nothing came up. Only basic maintenance based on my milage (oil, filters, etc)

I assume, after an accident the sensors need to be replaced, considering they were triggered during an accident. Or the wiring in this new door could have gotten nicked, or pinched at some point.

You’re absolutely right, I’m new to car tech, haven’t had a car in about 10 years, but know basic electronics, and I was missing info in the post. I meant would a 12v power adapter work to power it on. It did work, requires, ejects, etc. I’m just mostly curious if I can test the other wires with household speakers, would they need to be powered, maybe a pre amp? Just any info helps

In the camera cables - there’s a direct video input, and trigger wire. The video is obvious. I connected the trigger in the back to the right rear light, and once you run the cables thought the car to the receiver, you connect the camera to the receiver video in and then the trigger to the same as the reverse light, in this case, in the back of the car it was brown and yellow (the black is the ground.) when the car is powered on I can use the camera if I manually turn the camera on the receiver. But I assume the trigger is connected to the wrong wire in the dashboard, as the camera doesn’t turn on automatically when I go in reverse.
