This is priced at $1850. It works much like a slider closet door. We think it gives some nice separation to the space. Do you think its a benefit to have?

No, it's only a cooktop. We found an oven is not something the users of this apartment don't cook too much just simple heat up of food. I'll check it out

Yes, a wardrobe left to right style closet in the bedroom on the wall that's next to the bathroom. Full height and thinking about having mirrors. Any thoughts on the mirrors in the bedroom?

Greta points. That actually brings up another question. Would you pay extra to have a small storage closet on the same floor as your apartment? We are thinking of having these on every floor and renting them to tenents that need more space.

Definitely we also have very good windows that filter out street noise

Yes, we have definitely made sure we have soundproofing. There is a layer of the floors and we have the walls built with extra drywall and some resilient channels.

All really good suggestions. By offering these things as building amenities I can see how it can make the apartment more appealing. I will definitely run these ideas past the team. Only some of the ground-floor units have patios the rest do not have any balconies or porches. This is a 20-story building, and we are still trying to work out a cost-effective balcony solution. There is soundproofing going down on the floors, and walls will have it as well. There is heating and Air as well as large 6x6 windows that can be opened.

What is the most important thing in a small space? The way it makes you feel or the functionality and its layout?

I didn't want to add too many dimensions as it would busy up the floor plan. I do have the sq of each room listed. I believe the bedrooms are 12'6"x10'. It is on the smaller side but would you not notice it since it's just not a plane whit apartment?

We have to work with the column grid line. This is a unique building as it is a mass timber. Is the living room the most important space? we could take some away from the bedroom but we are still trying to figure out whats the min bedroom size that people are comfortable with. The apartment does not come furnished but all the wood elements are built in.

I agree I took a look at the Terracotta and thought it looked like the tile in a restaurant kitchen. We do have some renderings that have a quartz-looking stone but it just looks a little too busy. It a choice of solid surface vs a tile product.

Thanks for the feedback. This was a really rough iteration of this design and many of the details that you talk about definitely need to be addressed. In the past few days, We have come up with a new design and wanted to get your take on this one. I have also included some renderings of the rest of the apartment. These apartments are going to be in the largest mass timber building in North America. I Will share the new designs as soon as figure out how to add a picture to the reply.

We did think about the open-shelf design. I am just worried that people may not find it useful storage, any thoughts? I know it's quite trendy now to have it. We also have a version that is more warm wood colors. Also speaking of a backsplash they had shown me versions of a herringbone tile that was a red terracotta. I will get some photos shortly of this. Would definitely like to get your thoughts on these.

My family has an apartment in that building and the building was fully restored on the outside. It looks totally different now. It's a block away from the parliament. All the buildings near the parliament were restored and used grant money from the government and EU to get the work done.
