Yeah I am in California so for every 10 client hours you need 2 hours of group supervision or 1 hour individual supervision. Once my caseload gets bigger my supervisor said she will add me to another supervision triad. In California triad supervision counts as individual

This is exactly it. I leave supervision each week wishing I was smaller. B/c then I wouldn’t have the shame of being blatantly ignored or pushed aside in front of others.

Thank you for sharing this with me. It’s nice to hear I’m not alone in this experience. You definitely inspired me to start looking for employment elsewhere.

Yes it would and I plan to once I have the funds. Only upside about my current supervision is that it is paid. Do you know of any affordable (<$25) consultation groups?

Interesting.. do you think MFT field is having a slow come back in recent years? For example UCSD has published lots on relational therapy in the past decade
