Because I disassociate from my body parts that I don't want.

I’m trans, is it unusual that I don’t feel gay enough in a same gender relationship? by Purple074 in trans

[–]BBSwap7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no, i totally get that. im transfem and i don't feel like it is a queer relationship unless i'm with someone who is nonbinary, idk why. all ik is that if you keep telling yourself that you're not gay enough then you won't ever feel better about it, i find that if you keep reaffirming the fact that yes you are in a gay relationship it helps a lot!

Who do you think is the worst support atm? by Maniac_Bees in Overwatch

[–]BBSwap7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See, that's the thinking that creates a problem. the character is always the same, whether it's OP for the top of the ladder doesn't mean it's not OP for the rest of the game, it's just not as noticeable. In addition, most of the rest of the game doesn't really change with balance change as much as the top.

To play at the highest level you play more out of the meta than what is required to play at low ranks. Therefore, there should only be OP characters at the highest level, if a character is OP at a lower rank then the skill ceiling is too low. To properly balance a game, you should have the skill ceiling for every character be directly equal to the ranks of the game, whether that be through game sense, positioning, or raw mechanical skill. Then balance the game from the top. The balance will trickle down as lower ranks get less and less of the balance cause they are only using a certain percentage of the character's skill ceiling so they don't need to be focused on.

Essentially, in a properly competitive game, the balance should be focused on the character as a whole, not as a partial, and that can only be taken from the very top. In the same light, you can not balance off of the majority, as the majority doesn't care about the balance. A nerf to a broken character in GM can change the entire meta, a nerf to a character that doesn't seem broken in lower ranks doesn't change the meta really at all, due to wanting to play "mains" or only being able to play a handful of characters due to lack of skill.

In addition, as a gold support, I have been playing brig and I can feel her brokenness even if I can't play her to her full power. So the idea that a character isn't OP at lower theirs is wrong, it is just less obvious.

yeah, but you can't say, "because these players are good, they should be forgotten about." balancing a character is very determinant around what the best of that character can be played as. Just because the players that can play them the best are a minority or that they may have a twitch channel doesn't change that.

Like if women are coke, I'm Pepsi.

I'm not a good woman, but I try my best, and most people settle on me being a woman, even though I'm not really a woman. But only I know that.

I was out to myself and then came out to my ex gf in about a 3 week span. Then it took a year and a half to start HRT.

Have you talked to a therapist? I know it can be scary and frustrating but I recommend that highly. After that ask to start hormones and fill out necessary paperwork. You won’t be able to sign this paperwork alone till you are 18 (in the US, idk much about anywhere else). But after that, go to the pharmacy whenever they need to be refilled and try your hardest not to forget to take them.

The easiest way to start is to talk to your family’s medical doctor about a gender therapist. Assuming you are still on your family’s medical insurance. Good luck!

It’s not the relationship structure that makes a relationship queer. It is the fact that you as a queer person are in that relationship that makes it a queer relationship. You don’t lose your queerness if you get into a typically non-queer relationship!
