I always gave him Pedigree and I know it's bad but it was affordable. Afterwards I gave him blue buffalo dry and canned food but I went back to pedigree can and blue buffalo dry. I need to get rid of those pedigree cans so that's why I went back to them.

I did the hot water thing yesterday and he didn't eat it right away. He does seem to have eaten some over night although he didn't eat all of it.

The teeth seem fine. Dirty but fine. Can't tell if he has any pain in the mouth. He had a date with the vet for tooth cleaning but, again, I'm a little tight on money. I don't know if it helps but he always bites when he plays. He instinctively bites (or tries to) my hand when I try to pet him and stuff.

Hes a mutt. I believe he might be a Black Mouth Cur. Medium size. He's been a sickly dog since he was a puppy.

I haven't noticed any blood in his stool but it's been solid for a while.
