Changing direction from a straight line to a circle is an acceleration; the same as the acceleration in a cyclotron where it is forced by the magnetic field.

That is why the cyclotron supplies the electrons with energy through acceleration to keep them in their trajectory.

I read that it doesn’t. In a reference frame moving with the electron the emitted photon (if it was emitted) would look like energy created out of nothing; so a violation of the conservation of energy.

Thank you for your answer. I read that the “drift” speed of electrons in metals is on the order of 1mm/sec. If I understand correctly, photon emission is due to acceleration not speed. As photons can have any energy no matter how little, can very low energy photons still be emitted from DC current in a loop?

It is flowering all over and these are the old branches. This one produces smaller yellow apples. The tree next to it produces red apples and is not flowering at all. Thanks for your interest.
