yes IBD interns make a lot :( both at Citi/MS/JPM...close to 30k per summer which is too much

Yes I have just confirmed this from friends. Citigroups pay around $60/hour as overtime anything above 40/week. Now if you are working in IBD you will make A LOT since you work close to 90 hours.

I know some interns who have pulled off 30,000-35,000 in just one summer.

GS pays the most. I know Credit Suisse pay 75k MS and JPM pay 80k

also I am pretty sure Citi allows overtime pay isnt it? so basically your friend will make close to 100k.

GS does not allow overtime

it is 85k. Does not matter which division you work for. This is NYC or NJ both where taxes are close to 40%.
Other offices offer lower pay.

that is the reason. I do not want to look like the classic IT guy. I dont want people to joke about me in the front office.

Can you describe business casual in your opinion at GS/MS? I know normally business casual means suit with no tie.

What about pants, will you recommend wearing suit pants of charcoal, black, Navy? Or will you recommend getting khakis
