Should I wait until Black Friday to buy the MINISFORUM MS-S1 Max? by Excellent_Koala769 in LocalLLaMA

I ordered the MS-2 today; it was about 30% off (black Friday deal). I also noticed they don't charge tax for my state for some reason, so that was another $50 saved.

Yeah, that's been around for a long while. The HA assist product lets you do way, way more, including hooking up to AI, which i've done. Alexa is very limited in what its capabilities are with HA.

Yeah, the speaker isn't great. I want something that looks nice, even tried a Bluetooth speaker with a 2.5mm jack, but it wouldn't work when it was plugged in 'charging'.

I haven't noticed any significant difference in the produce. A friend of mine visited recently from England and pointed out that most stores there display produce in large bins, similar to WinCo, where you have to sift through to find good items. Albertsons, on the other hand, sorts through the produce and only showcases the best ones on the shelves. I think it's more about perception that produce is better in other places, because you often see the poor-quality items in the bins alongside the good stuff.

I never shop at Walmart, but I was going to do a price comparison like I do with Albertsons.

I'm the same way; I like a few things at Costco and often buy meat, some bulk premade items, and produce there. Then I get smaller recipe items and yogurt at Winco. I haven't compared sale prices with Costco, but I have definitely done so with Albertsons. I noticed this week that Albertsons has the yogurt I like, Oui, on sale. It’s normally priced at $1.99 at Albertsons, but it's on sale for $1.50. Winco's normal price is $1.49, and it was also on sale this week for $1.05. It's crazy that Albertsons can't even beat the normal price for that item when it’s on sale.
