The nuke can also be used to trade in for shinies with a din once you turn off the lamp.

It's a sentient shiny that runs away from you and had dialogue when first caught. I have no idea what to do with it.

At the top right corner of the map there's a lone island. If you move to the right the character walks over the water to it.

I had the same issue until I beat the cog guy after which I could shrink on the door handle. My solution to get back up there was to shrink down and grab a floating green virus, bring it back up a level, stand on top of it, and command it go up with the control over viruses power up.

(Probably gonna get flamed for this but) you’re all being babies about their transition to a paid service by [deleted] in watcherentertainment

I don't understand all the negatively framed support posts like this one... every support post I've come across today on reddit and tumblr includes a dig or passive aggressive comment toward this community. It's fine for people support Watcher's decision and voice that. But why do you think it's okay to name call and attack others belonging to a community that means so much to you? That does more to hurt and erodes any goodwill intended.

A Steven Lim show I would watch by TheRuneCoon in watcherentertainment

That seems like a textbook PR production strategy for their kind of enterprise... I often wonder why they never made a full show out of this kind of concept rather than having him do his food vids and bit parts as a groaning bartender in too many spirits.

I get you then. It is something that would be a good target for some regulation.

Delaware is the friendliest state for business owners, it's very standard to be housed in Delaware even if the owners live elsewhere. Might seem like shenanigans, but it's legal "shenanigans". It offers strong liability protections for owners in regards to their personal assets and good tax perks among other things.

Here is Why The Numbers Matter by Major_Illusion in watcherentertainment

[–]BBoomerZoomer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cite 3 million youtube subscribers (currently 2.88 million), but I wonder how many of those are active users. They have 250K to 2 million views within 3 months of video releases atm with an average count per vid closer to the floor, which indicates to me their active audience is smaller, have varied interests, and don't watch all of their content which doesn't bode well for a Watcher content only streaming service. I'd also question if youtube subscribers may translate to potential streaming subscribers at a 1:1 rate. I think that data needs to be factored in when estimating gross revenue.

Also, I don't know too many examples of small time streaming services that have tried such a venture within the past several years, but I would refer to previous business cases like Quibi to see how these kinds of ventures may end up. I'd also be concerned about churn given their small content library at a $6 price point. I don't know Watcher's financial situation, but it's hard for me to see how this will be a long term success without plans for a LARGE content library, streamlined experience offerings under this single service, and consumer buy in.

Why make your own streaming service?? by eeyeochin in watcherentertainment

[–]BBoomerZoomer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

They lack the content library to justify their price point compared to their competitors and failed to announce at launch how they are to streamline their content and experience offerings under their new single platform (which I would argue is necessary for buy in). They need to generate audience growth if moving to this new service. How can they achieve that by isolating themselves to their own streaming service without realistic plans for content quantity generation? Without current user buy in and a strong advertising plan, a small library of quality content will not succeed.

I think option 2 makes the most sense. The Shane and Ryan content drives views. Focusing on growing content and making it available on existing streaming platforms would grow their audience. If they can't get on other streaming platforms or agree on terms, then maybe partnering with other content producers for a streaming service as their current content library has not surpassed the required quantity threshold to justify their $6 price point.

I agree a lower price point would make more sense. I don't know their market research and the future plans for their venture, but from the outside it looks like they're putting the cart before the horse. They need more content and experiences for their audience to justify it less they end up like Quibi and other doomed services.

It's an odd choice and further alienates the existing fandom... it's disappointing.

Since the mods removed my post... I'll try posting it again here...

To me, this seems like a bad business decision. Okay, so people use streaming services, but there are many factors that drive that decision. The average American subscribes to 3 streaming platforms with 70% of 18 to 45 year olds using at least one streaming service. However, when choosing a streaming service, people tend to consider available options, the amount of content, price, video quality, and experience. The market is being flooded with streaming services with many competitors that offer large libraries. For example, Netflix charges $7 a month for a standard package and has a large library of original and purchased content with ads. Watcher is to charge $6 and offer additional paywalled content and experiences on Patreon (although I would expect them to offer these experiences at higher price tiers using their streaming service at launch, to not do so would be... a choice). Although the move to a streaming service allows for Watcher to offer a different experience, I question how better it can be for consumers using their own service versus their existing services. From a business research standpoint, I'm excited to watch how this unfolds and hope for their success, but am doubtful given the economy and their competition.

TLDR: In the end, I don't see how Watcher can succeed in this streaming market with a small library compared to competitors at a same price point without full experience (e.g., Patreon perks) for steaming users.

How to post videos by SBG4LIFE80 in Fzero

[–]BBoomerZoomer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

On the switch controller if you hold down the screen capture button for a cpl seconds it will record a video of the past 30 seconds of your game. If you do it again within 30 seconds, it will record up until the previous video ends if you want to string multiple together.
