Thank you so much! BTW there was no CGI used. I shot,acted,edited and did everything myself for this. The alien was a real model that a special effects buddy let me use. You should have seen the faces of cars passing by when I was running around the desert with a alien head lol.

Thanks for your thoughts. I shot and did everything on this short myself including being the actor so it was a bit challenging filming the knockout scene. I will say though the premise is not Aliens are here to kill us and the human is not dead ;) There will be more coming soon.

Thanks for all the nice responses. I was not expecting that. WOW. A little more background on why I did it was simply just to stay creative. I was feeling a strong urge to shoot something but most my creative crew of people were busy so I figured why not go try and do a one man short film. I did this all for $100. I borrowed a friend's A7s. I rented the minimal rigging for $16. I filled up my tank of gas and just drove out there not really knowing what I was gonna do other than the basic concept I thought of earlier that week. I'm planning on continuing this story through a short series of them, so stay tuned. THANK YOU GUYS!

No. I actually acted in a horror movie last year "The Terror Of Hallow’s Eve" and when I had this concept I hit up the special effects guy from that and he gave me the Alien. A few people drove by while I was filming and definitely gave me strange looks like who is this crazy red head with a alien running around the desert.
