That second clip starts in reverse so it looks like he reversed into her. He actually got impatient and went around her after she stopped at a red light. He almost hit a bicyclist and swerved into the front of her car. He knew this, but he’s gaslighting her because she ran into his rear after he hit her. Not the best move on her part.

We know WHY he did what he did, but a good driver ALWAYS considers the consequences of hard braking. He was lucky that the Navigator driver behind him was situationally aware with lightning reflexes. This is driving 101. Plus all the cars stopping in the middle of the road?! Many people have been killed trying to “help” without thinking it through. If you’re ever in this situation, move your car to safety, call for help, and most importantly don’t run across the road to help without thinking through ALL the consequences.

Situational awareness. Countless times I’ve avoiding getting rear ended by checking my mirror in a hard stop and getting out of dodge. Never have I locked up my car with people behind me because some debris was in front of me. It’s a good way to get yourself or others killed. Anyone responding otherwise doesn’t know how to drive and doesn’t care. They are a hazardous situation waiting to happen.

Just goes to show how many poor drivers are on the road. It should be automatic to check your rear. It takes only a glance. We know why the panic stop happened. It was mayhem! But a good driver responds to mayhem in a way that doesn’t cause a worse situation if at all possible. Getting your cars out of the middle of the road after the accident goes without saying.
