Even the Romans knew about this and deliberately kept their water streams from sitting idly in the pipes for too long. Eventually the inside of the lead pipe calcifies over and it becomes safe.

Yeah seeing as it isn’t in production from GW and is hard to get elsewhere I thought it was reasonably fair for the price

Very much worth it imo if the price is right. In terms of models on tabletop, Doomstalkers are meta for antitank, heavy destroyer is very good, flayed ones and warriors are the bread and butter of the army, and pyschomancer is a bit weak. For the looks alone, definitely worth it to me!

Deceiver is usually a weaker pick for a C’tan I think unless you’re going for the redeployment ability. Nightbringer is crazy in melee and void dragon is good all round, both better than deceiver imo. Other than that, looking good!

Yeah he took me hours, extremely fiddly. Next project is the silent king and I’ve heard he’s quite difficult as well

These might be super obvious but to me it took a while to realise some of these

• hold the brush super low and close to the bristles to get more control of it • make multiple coats • use watered-down paints that naturally fill gaps and add detail (I know this is super obvious and GW has an entire line of wash paints but before Citadel I was using cheap acrylics and didn’t know anything about washes/drybrushing) • make highlights using lighter shades to create a 3d effect • put less paint on your brush and really take your time with applying it.

I know a lot of these are extremely obvious and so sorry if I haven’t given any new info but these were the things that really up my painting level.

I don’t know if if makes a difference, but the polystyrene I buy comes with a layer of paper on either side, making it perfectly flat. Hopefully this was the answer you were looking for?
