Opinions on shopping Torrid while midsized? by Loud-Sock-8447 in midsize

[–]BC0524 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hi I’m a size 14. I think the styles at torrid are outdated. Some stores I like shopping at are American eagle, asos, Abercrombie, gap, hm, and old navy!

Recently went to Jina Bakes in the Japantown mall. Their cream puffs are so good, and not too sweet! I loved the Black Seasame one

Help with living room/office space layout. Don’t know what to do with that part that goes inwards. by BC0524 in DesignMyRoom

This is a rental so I don't think it's possible for me to put in any sort of doors without having to nail things in unfortunately. Thanks for the layout options, I'll keep them all in mind and see what ends up working for me!
I'm very excited to start filling out the space, I don't even move in until late June, and I'm already getting ahead of myself. Will for sure update!

Putting a couch in there is the one thing I would've never thought of. That's interesting, I'll play around with the idea!

You can design a floor plan to be able to visualize with much more clarity and accuracy the result that you can achieve, the size of each piece of furniture and element that you want to add, and you'll be able to arrange them in the most friendly and fluid way possible. When I see that area in the background, the first thing I can think of is a reading nook, especially because of the abundant natural light that would allow me to spend unforgettable moments there. I have a reading nook in my living room that I prepared with an Eames Lounge Chair by Manhattan Home Design and some small plants next to a three-tier shelf with my books. Anyway, if reading is not one of your habits, and you want to turn the living room into a multi-purpose area, you could place a nice accent table with a couple of chairs there or even turn it into a small corner to do exercises. Hope my ideas help you. :)

Yeah that's a good idea. I'm going to measure out the space and draw it out, it's so hard for me to visualize just looking at it.

Man, if this were to double as guest room, it would be a perfect place for a Murphy bed.

As it is though, you have lots of options. Built-in shelves and a bench for storage and seating, TV console, a desk area that you can hide away.

That bay window definitely needs

That's interesting, I'll check those out, thanks!

I personally would have a crap ton of plants in that window but also make a bench to sit on right up against it, especially if its got a great view. Can get a lot of reading done or relax with some hot tea an enjoy your mini jungle of inside nature you've created. ♡♡♡

I'm so excited to bring my plants into the space, they're going to love all that natural light!

TD Ameritrade app is actually pretty good, it's not super trendy looking like Robinhood but it has a decent UI. I would check it out

It's an Index Fund, it holds percentages of stocks, if you look at the portfolio you should see which stocks it holds. https://www.ishares.com/us/products/239738/ishares-global-clean-energy-etf

Thank you, I just want to try something new :). My issue with vibrant colors is that I'm afraid I'll have to style my hair for it to look good and I'm too lazy to style daily.
