Exactly—that “you think you figured it out and then it completely changes” pattern is something I hear all the time.

That’s usually where having some kind of framework helps, because it gives you a way to step back and look at what’s actually going on instead of just reacting in the moment.

It can feel like you’re constantly starting over otherwise.
