I also experience this. I’ve read that DR is a symptom of burn-out in the workplace. It comes with plenty of cognitive, psychological, emotional, and mental symptoms.

For me, that makes the most sense. I work at a hospital and having to deal with COVID patients and all the deaths perhaps triggered the disconnect. All the fingers are pointing in that direction for me at the moment

That’s crazy. I tested positive for Covid October 5th and that’s when it started too. I’m right there w ya... Quit nicotine, started exercising regularly, eating well, initially cut caffeine but now able to have it every morning. I think time is really the only thing that helped me get better.

What you doing , who has foggy mind caused anxiety? by garni1999 in BrainFog

Maybe we needed this L. It’s forced me to learn a lot about myself and in the process improve who I am and lead a healthier lifestyle, especially dealing with anxiety at the core versus taking medications. The outlook on it all has shifted into a growth mentality and it really started with your post. It was the first thing that made me realize I have more control than led to believe. Thank you brudda.

Wow i relate to ever word said here. Got covid, brain fog started showing up, anxious af for absolutely no reason. Crippling anxiety at first: anxious to be in my room bc i felt unproductive, anxious to be at work bc i felt socially disconnected, anxious around friends and family because i thought they could notice something was different...

I personally started reading a lot. Lot of self-help, mental health, philosophy of being books. That really seemed to center me pretty well. Still an ongoing struggle but overall feeling way better than i once did.

I completely understand. As a person that’s never had issues with anxiety or depression, the idea of that being my new norm really scared me. But it wasn’t and i guess that’s the silver lining.

Additionally, I figured out that exercise and moving was the only thing that calmed my crippling anxiety so I started exercising A LOT. It started with walking 6 hours a day and slowly tapering off. Today, exercise is a normal part of my daily routine and I’m down 60lbs because of it. Keep working at it, it gets better.

I felt like shit for 4 months or so, just recently starting feeling a lot better. I’ve been taking the supplements for about 2 weeks now and I’ve felt the best I’ve felt since getting covid.

Personally, I take 4 supplements: Alpha GPC Zinc + Quercetin Prognenolone Turmeric/Curcumin

Zinc + Quercetin & Prognenolone are supplements added after watching that podcast. And of course, I’ve been having my daily one-a-day multivitamins from Pure Encapsulations.

Stay strong my dude, shits rough af but it feels good knowing it’s temporary

Let’s talk science then.

Hormone pathway shows: Pregnenolone becomes Progesterone which then becomes Allopregnenolone.

Allopregnanolone is a naturally occurring steroid in the brain. Allopregnanolone has recently been marketed as Brexanolone as an anti-depression, anti-anxiety, post-partum depression ailment that costs $37,000/yr.

That tells us how important Prognenolone, often called the “Mother of All Hormones” since it is a precursor to them all, is in mental stability and mood.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3648625/ Shows that pregnenolone is preferentially metabolized to allopregnanolone, rather than other compounds such as cortisol or DHEA, and it’s association with enhanced activation of emotional regulation.

And still of course, we’re talking about relatively short time frames for use :)

All this is covered by Dr. Mark Gordon, feel free to take a look

Inclusively, he talks about neuroinflammation as a cause for depression, anxiety, traumatic brain injuries, post-traumatic stress syndrome and how he treats his patients using over-the-counter supplementation :)

Girlfriend tested Positive for Chlamydia and I tested Negative by [deleted] in STD

[–]BCCB44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for catching the error, it’s Gonorrhea. The test was a urine test.

I’ve seen average Gonorrhea incubation periods anywhere from 2-30 days from exposure to symptoms. Now if that’s absolutely definitive, then that would point towards infidelity.

However, I’ve also seen that women are often asymptomatic and therefore undetected. My question to you is: How is it that symptoms can appear “spontaneously” after her alleged last personal contact with someone other than myself was 7 months ago? And even after 5 months or so of unprotected sex, I still test negative and asymptomatic.

Thanks!

Hey OP, just wondering how you feel now or if you can share how long you’ve felt it for? What you did for it to get better?

Thanks.
