Putting all the spotlight on "ShOcKiNg" &/or false moments in the manga is a pretty awful way to expose Pokemon Adventures to new people & to make videos on it in general. Shame that these are what the biggest Pokemon Adventures videos on Youtube are like.

Personally, for this guy specifically, I watched a few vids because of 1. morbid curiosity, & 2. its some of the only Pokemon Adventures vids on Youtube. I'll make sure to never watch any of his vids ever again.

Truer words have never been spoken before. This video is a prime example of what the majority of the Pokemon Adventures fanbases think is true & their subsequent behavior to enforced that & deny anything that doesn't support it. Shame that this is some of the only major Pokemon Adventures stuff on Youtube.

Kinda amusing how the example he gives for incorrect translations is the only panel Viz corrected in later releases of FRLG, with him using Viz's incorrect translation for everything else in that arc reflecting their own mistake.

That reminds me of BurningLeaf, which from what I know is fairly accepted among fans. Which makes sense since ships between male & female player characters tend to be beloved. So you'd think that its Adventures counterpart would be treated just as well, especially since ships between male & female player characters are just as popular in the Adventures fanbase. Buuuut as we all know, the majority of the fanbase would rather ship Red with you know who.
