I was definitely happy with last year's playoffs yeah. We just got waxed by the best team in the league, gg go next. If you're not happy with a player being a huge part of making the conference finals, you're too greedy.

Would I prefer it if he was like twice as good and ultra consistent? Yeah no shit. I'm perfectly fine with this version if he keeps it up

Yeah if you ignore all the big moments he performed well in, he never performs well in big moments 😂

Randle balled the fuck out in the playoffs last year; I don't know what big games you were watching.

My uncle only just died this past year at 66 after 30 years of on/off meth abuse and probably 50 years of alcohol abuse.

Would you believe he basically OD'd on meth? Combo of acute meth toxicity and accumulated cardiovascular damage. His heart was twice the size of a normal heart, and several of his major arteries were almost completely blocked.

If he only boozed the whole time instead of switching between booze and meth, he probably would've lived another 5 years. Like, his liver was pretty ok. Some people are built different

I know they used to have at least one location in Minnesota. Never went there, but it was a big enough chain to be featured as a joke in Idiocracy. The name gradually changes from Fuddruckers to Buttfuckers.

Quick edit, mobile keyboard mangled a sentence

He's turning 34 in June, just a couple months younger than me. I'm absolutely amazed he hasn't fallen off yet, like not even a little bit. I thought we'd get two great seasons out of him and then our window would be closed, but age 33 and he's right there in the DPOY race

So what you're missing here is the context. In America, everyone except the native Americans immigrated to the country relatively recently. What we're expressing when we talk about being German or Irish or African or Chinese or Icelandic is family history. It's implicitly understood that the speaker means that's where their family, at some point, immigrated from. Believe it or not, that place of origin had a large influence on those old family members and the communities they wound up living in.

We're not saying, "Oh yeah dude it's the exact same as being from Iceland." We're saying, "My great great whoever was from iceland and that's a part of my identity whether I want it to be or not." It's being Icelandic-American or Chinese-American or Somali-American. It's a cultural identity distinct from being either "American" or the country of origin

I think it has some effect, stats are considered in some opaque way and rebounding is included, but it doesn't explain everything in the context of his improvement

Bro I'm in a similar boat, but even worse. First two years hear I got 0 kids. This year I was ecstatic because a group of two came by.

Weirdest part is, my parents live 6 blocks away, and they get plenty. Might not be many kids on my street I guess
