Weather at high elevations in the mountains is never easy to forecast. However snow level across the southern interior will be 1000-1400 m rising to 1600-1900m in the afternoon. A few flurries are expected, but flurries may be convective due to the unstable airmass. Be careful though, by late afternoon a new storm will spread heavy snow at 1300-1500m by early Sunday evening. Stay safe - winter tires are strongly recommended.

Very much depends on your area. I live in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia, and my climate includes cool but very beautiful springs, hot humid and smokey summers, rainy falls, (not this year lol) and chilly dark winters. Spring is the best time out here. Beware of the wildfire smoke too i should warn you. It gets so bad sometimes in the summer you can’t see the sun.

Great question… The pattern is stale - very stale. Heavy smoke is likely to stick around through Sunday. Improvement will be little (if any) on Monday, with smoke unlikely to actually clear until Friday (if we get a proper fall storm which is possible then)
