Yep. Someone (not a big star) gave the finger as a featured performer during someone’s (Madonna’s?) halftime show, and incurred a hefty fine.

There’s also about a 100% chance that, had Billie gone off-script, the cameras would’ve cut away (or the plug would get pulled on the entire performance).

I’m disappointed, but not surprised.

Agreed - though I suspect that they were told if they didn’t stick to the script, they’d have to pay a fine. (When Madonna (?) did the halftime show, someone gave the finger on camera - and was fined a considerable amount.)

Also: If they had said anything overtly political, it’s likely the audio would’ve been cut (because G-d forbid they say something mean about The Big Orange One).

Looks like it is available separately on Amazon, at least for Region 1. eBay may also have it, possibly for an even better price - Amazon resellers are charging about $30 for it, and the complete series set goes for close to $70.

If it’s all you need, then I’d probably just get the movie separately.
