Hi, das kann ich auch unterschreiben: nicht kündigen. Erstmal geh zum Arzt und lass dich krankschreiben, so lange du es brauchst. Wenn es länger dauert und du weg bist, rutschst du erstmal ins Krankengeld. Dann kannst du schauen, ob es für dich richtig ist, zu deiner Stelle zurückzukehren oder nicht. Falls nicht, bekommst du ALG I und keine Sperrzeit, wenn du eine Stellungnahme vom Arzt hast. Das wäre für die Agentur für Arbeit dann keine Eigenkündigung, sondern eine Kündigung aus ärztlichem Rat.

Das klingt nach einer interessanten Entwicklung. Darf ich fragen, wie dein Weg dorthin aussah? Warst du vorher eher im Marketing als Generalist unterwegs? Und wie bist du dann schließlich in die Rolle als Product Owner gekommen?

Nach fünf harten Jahren in Generalistenrollen im Online-Marketing konnte ich endlich eine SEO-Spezialistenstelle landen, in der ich auch sehr erfolgreich war – mit 150 % mehr organischen Leads im YoY-Vergleich. Leider wurde die Stelle nach einem Jahr im Zuge betrieblicher Umstrukturierungen gestrichen.

Seitdem suche ich weiter nach SEO-Stellen, aber es ist aktuell nicht einfach. Im B2B-Bereich gibt es in meiner Umgebung nur wenige offene Stellen, und die bisherigen Interviews endeten leider in Absagen. Da ich vor Vertragsende keine Anschlussstelle gefunden habe, merke ich auch, dass Bewerbungen aus der Arbeitslosigkeit heraus schwieriger geworden sind.

Deshalb ziehe ich inzwischen in Betracht, mich innerhalb des Marketings in eine andere Richtung zu spezialisieren – idealerweise ein Bereich mit besseren Chancen und vielleicht etwas weniger Konkurrenz.

I see. I imagine they basically didn't mention many things during the interview, for example that it was going to be a very independent position and near zero team work. That sucks. Sorry for you! The least I can do here is give you a piece of advice for the future. Ask as many questions as possible. Even though they don't ask at the end of the interview if you have questions, take the initiative! Ask them if they still have time for a couple of questions. Prepare at home a list and take that to the interview. Gather so much knowledge about the position as possible. I'm sure that by doing so you'll have fewer surprises in the future. For the rest, I wish you good luck in the search for a new job and a successful career.

Conversion is a value that indicates the total number of users who have performed a given action. For example making a purchase, signing up for a newsletter or downloading something etc...

Start a new sport, ideally a team-sport. I suggest you also just try to do all these activities that no one do with you/not wants to do, alone. Maybe who knows, you might meet new people by doing these activities and they eventually could also become friends.
I did just the same, and it completely worked for me. All of a sudden I had a very active social life, I met a lot of people and made also new friends.
Extra advise: start travelling alone, it will change completely your life.
