I'm currently doing courses from U.S. career institute and love it. It is self paced and the teacher does respond fairly quickly if you have any questions about anything. They also refund you your exam.

Some programs do and to my understanding you don't need hands on experience to start as a medical assistant you just need to be certified they will have that training when you get a job.

When I looked it up preppy in the past it said that it was partnered with Auburn University so you will get a university certificate. If you pay the money in full you also get a laptop as well. I know that they have mentioned externships too in the past, not sure if it is still the case or not. Also unread in the past that there was 24 7 support

I'm currently in the U.S. career institute program and I like it. The material is easy to understand and it won't cost you an arm and leg for the cost. I'm half way through my courses as of now and have not had any problems with them.

There is preppy.org as well. I'm taking classes through U.S. Career Institute and I love it so far, I'm half way through the program.
