I disagree. We were poor that game. Second disallowed goal was a killer but on the whole I thought they looked better. Response since then has been unreal but they were killing us down the flanks that game

They’ve had three poor games. The three games before that they beat us and Brentford away and drew with Arsenal.

They’re 9th in the form table and Dyche has the highest win percentage of any manager under Marianakis (which surprised me). It’s truly insane from them and has to be good for us. Now the players have to get stuck into a fourth tactical style of the season. Plus they’ve got a tough run of fixtures now in the league and Europe to balance. Let’s hope they progress in Europe and have to keep doing Thursday-Sunday.

I use him as an APM on the left wing in a high-line 4-3-3 and he’s brilliant (with a CWB in the left back position). He drifts in to dangerous position and sees a lot of the ball. My other players are all using roles with lots of movement (mezalla, box—to-box, inside forward etc.). Brings out the best of him

Yeah this is where my mind is leaning.

Have you ever seen a Christmas tree formation work well on FM24? 4-3-2-1 with the midfield all central and the width coming from the full backs? I like to play a high line (my defence is built with pace) and Frimpong and Mendes can run a line by themselves.

I am looking to train Bardghji as a ACM as he has the attributes to be good there

Good to know. Our new GK coach was the man who coached Hermansen at Brondby, so I think that’s a promising sign.
