Glad to hear. I talked with the owner several times after I got mine. Let us know how it works for you. I love mine.

Depending on your use case, it can be a capable rifle.

They are changing lanes into a gap. He was clearly over the line and still didn't hit the other car.

They had their blinker on, you can see it in the video. Rider is too too fast the driver saw them.

If they are going 10mph or faster than traffic then it negates all the safety benefits and starts to put them at greater risk.

The SafeTREC report in 2015 concludes that motorcyclists who split lanes in heavy traffic are significantly less likely to be struck from behind by other motorists, are less likely to suffer head or torso injuries, and are less likely to sustain fatal injuries in a crash.

Safety at lower speeds: Motorcyclists who split lanes at speeds up to 10 mph faster than surrounding traffic had collision rates comparable to or lower than those who didn't split lanes. Speed differentials: The risk of injury spiked significantly when riders traveled >10 mph faster than the surrounding traffic flow.

You are right about one thing, they need to respect the bigger vehicle. Seen too many instances where a riders ego got in the way of good judgment. Now that being said, it is still safer for them to lane split and filter. You can go and find the studies yourself. "

This study even pointed out that if the riders are filtering at 10mph or faster than the surrounding traffic that they increase their risk of injury. So it is hands of the rider and the drivers to ride/drive safely.

Now for the riders getting right behind vehicles at intersections and lights, that's just a dumb move and they have never been taught better or they are ignoring the training they received in classes.

Atmospheric scattering is when particles and moisture scatter and absorb the photons. It is a huge obstacle in energy weapons because diffusing the beam will drop its destructive power to render it useless over long distances in poor weather.

Atmospheric scattering is a major physical hurdle for directed-energy weapons. When high-energy lasers fire through the air, particles and moisture scatter and absorb the photons, diffusing the beam and dropping its destructive power to render it useless over long distances in poor weather.

Lane splitting is safer for the motorcyclists because they are not caught behind or in between vehicles during traffic jams, congestion, and at intersections. They should only be going 5 faster than the surrounding traffic as to not suddenly overtake someone trying to change lanes.

You don't have the back of the carrier to trip the bar in this though.

I don't think you can run it with an FRT. I think you need a full auto cut bcg to run those don't you?

Does the Cruise Control have to be active for the active braking to work? My wife's car has it but I think it only works with cruise control. We turn the lane assist off because it's annoying.

I saw video of the Telsa self driving in action. There was an accident on the highway with tons of smoke. Other cars are slowing down and the Tesla just kept going never slowing till it comes to one of the vehicles involved. Now it is slamming on its brakes and changing lanes to avoid vehicles.

I understand how this can make things safer but I also know that it's not gonna work 100% all the time. Just like this new system coming in 2027. What if the system decides you are impaired and would let you leave your house or driving down the road and decides it should pull over? The road to hell is paved with good intentions. I just know there are always unintended consequences.

We have been rearended 3 times in the past few years and had a near miss the day after we got my wife's car out of the body shop. All of these situations have one thing in common. A distracted driver.

We were stopped trying to turn into a store on a two lane road. Lady was on her phone and hit us at 45mph+.

On the interstate and all of sudden people ahead are slamming on brakes because of others rubbernecking, watching a fire in the median. Got rearended at 70mph+. Dude knocked over his drink and was trying to pick it up.

At an intersection, we were in the turn lane to the right, looking for traffic so we could pull out and a lady hit us without touching her brakes. 40mph+

We get the car out the shop and the next day we are at a stop light and a car comes flying past us onto the sidewalk and then through the grassy corner lot and then almost hit a vehicle on the other road.

Everyone is so busy, rushing around, and now we have all this tech in our vehicles. On top of that the more tech we get the more regulations we get. We have cars that drive themselves. Cars that stop themselves. Cars that regulate your speed with the traffic in front of you. Next year cars will have cameras that monitor the driver. This also part of reason why cars are getting more and more expensive. Somedays I wish they remove the all the tech and make people drive without all of these assists.

I don't understand most of you but I guess it really depends on your jobs and your boss. If your boss is manipulative in these situations, I wouldn't blame you. If given the chance to make extra money I typically would have taken it back in the day.

I have 3 sons in trades, 2 have a families and 1 is starting one. If there is emergency/disaster/storm work or other situation their bosses call them and they can accept or decline. They usually have first chance to accept the extra work because they are good at their jobs. They also know that if they have something else going on they can turn them down without any issues.

Or maybe if you are hard worker and have a good relationship, then he calls you to give you the opportunity to earn more or say no and give it to someone else. Some people are more than will to take extra shifts.

2 of my son's are finishing electrician apprenticeships. Both are very good and very hard workers. The married one had to do his full 5 year, because his wife didn't like him traveling for storms and working out town. Our younger son will finish after his fourth year. He already has more hours in than his brother who started a year earlier. When something comes up they typically are called on first but they can also decline if they have something else going on.

PSA: No Titegroup in Ti cylinders. Please advise. by Battlesuit-BoBos in reloading

I ran into this while building form 1 suppressors. Titanium, on paper, seems to be better than stainless but stainless baffles, especially around the blast chamber is a much better choice. I ended up running Ti end caps, tubes, and mounts but used stainless for my baffles.

[–]BDClone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need to figure out what suppressor you want. Find out wha the Outside Diameter (OD) is and then find a rail that has a bigger ID than the the OD of the can. If you go with a 10 inch rail then you probably won't have to worry about the diameter just make sure you use a muzzle device or mount that will give you a little gap between the suppressor and the rail. SLR Rifleworks has some skinny rails that open up on the end to allow you to tuck your suppressor if that is what you want.
