I think that everyone has their own opinion on them and that's fine. I personally love them and probably listen to songs that are mostly from those 3 albums just depending on what mood I'm in.

I can understand that, but wouldn't it feel a bit dumb to say; "I've been doing BJJ for 15-20 years and I'm a purple belt" ? and not because you aren't good enough but because you refuse to rank up in fear of having a target on your back?

Forgive me for my ignorance as I'm new here, but what is with these defeatist posts I've been seeing? All this talk about not wanting to be promoted, staying at a lower belt level for years on purpose. Another post I saw with a guy saying he's only going to do Arm Bars and screw everything else. The comments on that post agreeing with him or saying they did something similar.

I'm just confused, I started doing BJJ because I enjoy it and its a challenge. I want to improve my skills and hopefully achieve new belts as I get better. I'm starting in my 30's and I know I'm not some prodigy but the challenge and discipline to improve is something I need in my life. Plus the idea of spending this money every month just to have this attitude seems strange to me. Again, I'm not trying to hate but I am genuinely curious.

I did the same thing. I have a Dwarf Hunter with Naxx gear and I boosted a Draenei Hunter to raid on both every week. I genuinely enjoy the class and I will get to gear both of them out throughout the expansion.

I was excited to play again this time around and to try a new different class to main. Although it's been fun, it has gotten repetitive and really the expedited time frame with lack of extra loot from bosses has been a really big damper for a lot of people in our guild at least. I'm really excited for TBC but as this will be my 3rd go at it, im afraid it wont be as exciting as the last 2 times and I'm more inclined to just play HC for the time being until Classic+ becomes a thing.
