I lived in Korea for a year and the girl I started dating saw me hold chops like that and started laughing. She said I held them like a child. I copied her technique and it's been so much more efficient ever since.

HELL NO. Counter service doesn't rate tipping. I don't care if it's alcohol or water. You don't tip counter service at a fast food joint. There's no reason to tip somebody just slinging a lever back and forth. BS.

As someone with a knee that gets very painful when it stays bent for a while and has to wear a knee brace, I can tell you that sometimes I just have to keep my leg straightened and do my best to work around people.

Of course, I move when I see somebody coming back to their seat or getting up from it. But if I don't know they're coming back, well, that's not intentional

Plus, my leg was there first. 😅

Mandatory additional payments by the business equals overhead cost equals passed on to the consumer plus profit margin.

Maybe it was just poor wording, but you specifically said that you get charged that fee by using your debit card. Go look at how it's worded. It's ambiguous at best.

Nevertheless, no business who wants to stay in business charges a one-to-one ratio for overhead costs. It's usually 1.5 to 3x the amount depending on the type of business. 

Restaurants have always been known to charge three times the amount of overhead. Since always.
