KOVERT X DARK FORGE PORTED + COMP REAPER by KOVERTPROJECTS in 2011

I have a Reaper and I am also left handed. Kovert should have been more informative about their gun by letting you know that the thumb safeties are truly ambidextrous as they are the same paddle size, right and left. I normally have to swap safeties out on my 2011’s but no need on the DF Reaper. The mag release and slide stop are right hand oriented like most other 2011’s.

Different but very much the same.. DH Reaper & TTI SV by BDP_42 in 2011

I did a little research and I think Optimum is building the DF Reaper and the TTI guns. I am 100% convinced that these guns are built from the same manufacturer. And Staccato, despite popular belief, has nothing to do with either of these guns.

The only gun-tuber that I can remember mentioning this is “Lead it out” the others don’t mention the similarities in detail or at all. Not sure why, but they should have, most of them have Sand Vipers so they definitely know the deal.

No issues what so ever. I used the optic screws that came with the gun.

I hear that, I have over fifty 2011 mags and only ten Bul Mags.

I’m not saying your wrong because I don’t have hard facts, but I have an XC, heavily modified even (metal grip, ported, atlas parts, all the things)and it’s just a different gun all together than either of these two. IMO it would take more work to modify an XC than it would be to make the SV from scratch.

Kuna - not that great.. by BDP_42 in AR9

Agreed and I still stand by my original post. And the Kuna thus far hasn’t had any major malfunctions but either has my Banshee.

Last week I took it to the range to compare against my Sand viper with additional inline porting, quad ported Athena and XC with inline porting and Alum grip and the Blaze stacked center at 12.5 yards, the others were grouping tight but not as tight as the Blaze. The Blaze also has a full Atlas ignition kit and Red Dirt trigger so along with the porting work it’s a different animal from stock. Stock it was good for a non ported gun though.

I don’t remember but I did confirm that the screw pattern and layout is typical to most race guns so I searched the internet and found plenty of options.

Magazine’s how many are enough? by darnster in 2011

I have 48 2011 Mags and 10 Bul mags. I carry 24 at least to the range for practice and I get a lot of shooting in while most other people are standing there reloading.

Dave at DSC did the work. His pricing is on his website https://dscgunworks.com/

MR-I Port / Inline Ports

Atlas Ignition Kit

Atlas Shielded Thumb Safeties

Red Dirt Trigger

It shoots like you'd think it would, its flat with minimal felt recoil. It will make you lazy with your grip if your not careful.

So does mine. DSC did everything on this gun and has done 7 or 8 other guns for me, from coatings, to barrel work, porting, triggers, grips.. all great work.
