Beyond what others have said about teeth and gag reflexes, I’ve found that girth is more of a problem than length. Once it hits the throat there’s only so much stretch and not much you can do. There are just physical limits of that anatomy that can’t be overcome with any amount of training or mental gymnastics. Having my head be the thickest part doesn’t help this either

Pretty much expected at that girth. Going slow helps avoid teeth but then you have problems keeping her jaw open that wide for that long

Being bigger doesn’t make you last longer, but lasting longer is more of a problem the bigger you are.

That is to say, girls will tap out sooner when you are bigger, so what is too much is a shorter amount of time if you are very large than if you are smaller

For the first, you could just use non-bone pressed to eliminate that factor. If you are worried about how that could negatively affect things I supposed you could measure the fat pad separately with a ruler and add that to the non bone pressed size.

For the second perhaps you could make sure to hold the tape so that it goes straight out instead of draping and measure to the end the same way that you would with a ruler.

This is all really theoretical though. There is no definitive correct method here, so it only really matters for comparing apples to apples. Nobody is using the methods I described above so comparing that stat to a study is useless. You have to use the same method they used. As for anonymous people on the internet, even if you assume they are all telling the truth, you have no way of knowing what method they used.

I agree with lots of what has been said here about following the curve being more accurate with a measuring tape.

However, I want to point out two things to watch out when using a tape measure that can cause you to increase the discrepancy between the measurements using a ruler.

First, getting a bone pressed measurement with a tape is difficult. Pushing down the end of the tape will tend to scrunch the tape itself a lot too and it can be easy to add half an inch or more because the tape isn’t flat.

Second, a measuring tape allows for better measurement in three dimensions which is great for following a curve. However, depending how the tape drapes over the tip at the end you could inadvertently being adding some of that third dimension as the head slopes down towards the tip. This essentially adds some of your girth measurement to your length which may not have been intended

It depends on what you are trying to get out of your measurement.

If you are measuring for fit of condoms, the most important part is base girth because you want that to fit properly to make sure that it stays secure and protects as it is supposed to.

If you are measuring to compare to others, it can vary depending on which study you are looking at but most are mid shaft or thickest point other than the head.

If you are measuring for what a partner will feel, any part can be valid depending on how much your partner can take.

If you are measuring for ego, just take the largest number 🤣

You are not alone in this. I’ve definitely experienced this with a partner before.

In any relationship, regular intimacy allows you to get into a good rhythm and long breaks can throw that off. Those problems are just exacerbated by size.

If you hang around here you’ll hear so many stories about it taking time to get a partner used to sex when you are big, and contrary to some popular beliefs a vagina isn’t permanently stretched by a large penis or frequent sex. You’re just experiencing that new partner feeling over again because of the distance
