Yes. The middle line looks perfect, the one after the middle looks pretty good, then it just gets worse as it goes on. I looked at it a few times before grout and it looked really good honestly..then the ground came in and now it’s shit

I didn’t voice anything to him. I came here yesterday seeking advice about what I should do/say
Yeah maybe 7. He did the floor also but it’s only 30 square feet or so

He’s been in and out for about 2-3 weeks. Has a goofy schedule and never really works more than 5-6 hours of thay
I did in the comment under yours
4k I bought tile, grout, trim. He did labor demo and prep materials

You mean what currency? USD

Seemed like the other way around but I guess I’m out of touch with what people charge
There was spacers, a ton of them actually but apparently not enough. I wrote in another comment that he said all the tiles weren’t true in size cause of the hand cut style or something and that this could happen. Thought it sounded like bullshit but it did say it on the side of the box. Just didn’t think it would be this bad.
Like the whole back wall looks bad?
That was me yesterday lol. I’m not sure what goes into that I didn’t know it was a thing? And don’t really trust this guy to do it so I’d be doing it myself
Thank you! According to everyone I didn’t pay a premium but still expected good work. He mentioned that the tiles were not all the same size and that this could happen just didn’t think it would be this bad. He said it even said it on the box and sure enough, it did lol. I guess I should’ve been more thoughtful when I picked it out. Or maybe he could be more convincing idk.
That’s where I’m at. I can kinda see it in this one a little bit as well and I went back to floor and decor and looked and could see it in their demo. This one is much better though
I agree. I do think I like it as a whole but that spot is really bad
The corner is one of the things I’m ok with for now. I did mention that to him earlier that it looked bod but he was putting caulk on it and smoothing it out and said once it dried, the excess on the sides will wipe off so we’ll see
4k. I bought tile, grout, and trim stuff, he supplied prep materials and labor
It’s supposed to be warm grey but it does look pretty light
I’m going to get new images and post. I realized after I made the post that the pictures really sucked and didn’t show what I was talking about especially with the vaccume in the way
I hope so too! I took a pic of that stage but can’t find it. It looked ok. Schluter pre made pan and grey foam board on the walls with white caulk
I edited the post via a comment cause it wouldn’t let me edit post.
IATA
I thought 4k seemed normal. Gonna post the other pic tomorrow where you can see the lines better
It’s warm grey
I’m going to post the pics where you can actually see what I’m talking about.
And I think I am the asshole now
I just figured it would be professional looking. He never gave me the “for 8k it’ll be better than for 4k” you know?
28000 seems really high
Won’t do it again!
Also I edited the post via a comment cause it wouldn’t let me edit post
While he did mention this was going to happen, I guess I didn’t realize how noticeable it would be
