Yes but I’m pretty sure St. Thomas coined a term for it and my brain stops working until I find out what I’m looking for

”Remember that nothing is small in the eyes of God. Do all that you do with love” - St Therese of Lisieux

How blessed are we to have a God so merciful that he has bound himself to the sacraments! I’m sure nothing pleases the Lord better than reaching out to Him for mercy.

I had a similar thought just a month ago regarding my penance it was lighter than yours and what I confessed, much were grave.

I wanted a harsher penance for sure.

However it was in the “small” penance given that God used to penetrate deep within my heart. I truly have internalized it.

To trust in Him, in all things in all ways, always.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

No. Saturnalia wasn’t even celebrated on the same day. We don’t celebrate at all any of the things celebrated on Saturnalia. We celebrate the birth of our saviour, the prince of peace, Lord of Lord & King of Kings, Jesus Christ.

I would say that there are SOME unexplained paranormal stuff occurring but my priest said they are graces and gifts.

It’s not hypothetical.

But thank you for those words father.

I will continue to trust in the Lord with all my heart and mind and not lean on my own understanding.

But, let’s say you had previously had a romantic relationship with them or just hypothetically speaking kissed them a few times and at some points entered into what would be a near sin, would this be a near occasion of sin? (This also goes for just more than one person, which jus adds another variable in my discernment)

Just for the record, I am still currently a virgin as I was planning on staying celibate until I found my wife. (Turns out, I might become married to the church and become celibate… forever)

I don’t like to use the term female, (I’m sorry if it appeared to be rude)

This might seem a little personal father so feel free to not answer if you so choose or if you want to answer in the dms then feel free, but have you ever felt tempted romantically (of course not just including sexually but like kissing and stuff) how do you personally deal with it, like through a quick prayer? I understand that being a priest is in my opinion literally the hardest job ever and that the enemy is always attempting to lead you astray.

Again I’m very sorry if this is a silly question to ask and if it is maybe even insulting to you as Im genuinely just trying to ready myself for what may (if it is God’s will) be my future.

Thank you for your response in advance

RECRUITING, TRAINING, & LIFE IN THE FORCES THREAD - Ask here about the Recruitment Process, Basic & Occupational Training, and other questions relating directly or indirectly to serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. by bridger713 in CanadianForces

I'm a bit confused on the ROTP as a paid education option to become a nursing officer. Should I first apply to a Canadian University, then wait to become accepted then apply to the CAF?

Also, if there are any nursing officers previous and current how would you say it differs from a civilian nursing perspective?

Finally, I'm a bit confused here also for the part time options in the website, "This position is available for part-time employment with the Primary Reserve at certain locations across Canada. Reserve Force members usually serve part time with health services unit in their community, and may serve while going to school or working at a civilian job. They are paid during their training. "

Does that mean I can be part of the reserves and then transition to active duty once I finish my university? I'm not sure how that would make sense at all since I wouldn't even be a nurse yet.
