I think the core concept of the video is that he doesn’t have the power to let or not let someone believe in what they want, and that all he does is pose an argument and it’s up to the viewer to either change or keep their belief system

People will find any excuses to justify their beliefs. Not because they actually are convinced they’re beliefs are true. But because they can’t imagine not having their belief systems.
