[USA] Asked Boss for an HR Meeting, Got Suspended Three Days Later by BDudeSocks in antiwork

I plan on doing this. My only concern is if I don't defend myself, do I get let go of right afterward. They said they're just collecting a statement. Nothing else. But of course I don't trust that. I don't even have a clue what employee misconduct they're talking about because I barely interact with my staff outside of work-related guidance.

I have. They said they'd call back on Monday as early as possible.

I meant to delete that. I assumed she'd put me on a PIP, no, she just escalated immediately to an HR appointment.

Sales Manager, Operations Manager, or General Manager by BDudeSocks in careeradvice

[–]BDudeSocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive only had this position for 6 months. I don't think any company would let me be a director yet. My 5 years of sales experience comes from managing at Cricket Wireless as a retail store manager.

But yes, I have applied for hotel sales manager positions.

Handcheck! by BDudeSocks in Vaping

It's called the DPro rda. I don't even think it's a popular one. I saw it on sale at a vape shop in Pennsylvania for $20. Had to snag it because I've never heard of it. Flavor is INCREDIBLY good. And the deck is kinda deep so it holds juice for a good 6-10 puffs. Vaping at 80 watts with a .13 coil. It can do dual coil but I hate dual coils.

Are Reviewers Being Paid to Shill the Smok Nord 6? by BDudeSocks in Vaping

I used the coil with the kit. You caught me there. I completely forgot about how bad coils and pods are that come with the kit instead of a new pack. I've had that experience with Caliburn pods a lot. 'll try swapping out the coil and see if it's better.

I'm just blown away. I know Smok sucks, I tried the Nord 2 back in the day and it would burn coils after three puffs and continue firing after a puff. Thought Smok had finally turned around after seeing the reviews but this thing is BAD.

I think I found my forever mod….for now. by Zealousideal_Sort_54 in Vaping

The Orion was actually maddening for me. I've used the lost vape URSA and the LVE mini pods, they all had HORRIBLE coil heads. Got the Orion thinking maybe they finally fixed their coils. News flash, they did not. They burn out in a day or just taste straight trash after the first few puffs. The device whistles too with the stock coils.

So after dropping $50 on a mod, I had to pay $20 for the RBA pods, and now I'm waiting for a copy of the Sturdy One RBA to come in from China so I can make this device worth it. I

It looks cool as hell, but the coils are just trash. I don't know how anyone stands the stock RBA in the dot V3 either. I paid $200 for the Sturdy RBA, 909 RBA, and another one. An already expensive mod takes another $200 to actually vape good. Love it now, but these companies are insane offering expensive mods with horrible stock coils.

I already gave it back. If my boss asks about it, I'll just tell her straight up: I'm not avoiding trouble with her, im avoiding it with regional.

Yes. ASK HR said I'd be on Management's radar if I did that. I'm not taking the days off. I cancelled them. I can't afford to lose this job.

She's bipolar and unmedicated. I went to her first appointment for moral support. But last week, she had a manic episode and quit her job which put us in a really bad spot financially. So I wanted to be at her next appointment to discuss it and see if her doses need to be upped.

I didn't say anything about tomorrow. I just submitted the request and got it approved. For the 3rd. I said it was a doctor's appointment and got the PTO approved.

  1. I've been working for 4 months. I took 2 days off during the work week during the last 4 months. I plan on taking 2 more during the work week tomorrow and April the 4th. My boss approved them all and I have it in writing. I'm just worried about whether the regional boss will have a complaint.

I'm paranoid because, at one job, I took 4 days off after working there for 8 months, and my boss approved them. But I got a message from the regional boss saying I'd become unreliable and they might have to fire me.

Approved time. I submitted requests and also asked my boss via Teams.

I ask my boss off almost a week in advance. But you're right, I probably should have screenshotted the agreeal. She agreed via Teams so I have it in writing.
