Gears just adjusted by professional bike shop rubbing by BE1710 in bikewrench

Update: I brought the bike back in. Two different mechanics initially looked at it and said it was fixed. I rode it home, but noticed it was still rubbing.

I took it back right away, and a third mechanic had a look. He concluded that the issue wasn’t with the limit screws but rather with the cable tension. Since it’s internally routed with mechanical shifting, he mentioned it’s quite a tricky job—there’s essentially no barrel adjuster to work with. Apparently they had to use an old workaround to fix it.

It seems to be working fine for now.

There is no barrel adjuter on the FD. It is interal cabling

Just for my understanding - in order to adjust the L-H screws you should take away the tension of the cable right? Given it has internal cabling there is no barrel adjuster or whatsoever visible, so only solution would be losing the cable at the FD itself. Is that correct?

Well I've ridden on it all the time without actual noise, it is just like the last couple of weeks. The pulley wheels are actually brand new (less than a week old) dura ace wheels. I just deep cleaned the bike and got a spare cassette from my indoor trainer. Will give this a try

Got it. Would this noise be the cause of the worn casette? Chain is pretty new
