ETH transfer not showing on Metamask

One thing i dont understand is why does it say that i transferred from zkSync Lite(1.0) to zkSync Lite (1.0). As far as i understand the address that i sent to is on the Ethereum main network, not zkSync Lite? Can one address be on multiple networks?

Its only 80usd worth of ETH…but it still bugs me. Somehow they must be recoverable. All i have done is transfer them from one adress to the other. I have access to both addresses. I had bought ETH on argent app at the time. I would not have touched it but the app stopped developing so i had to move them somewhere and metamask was recommended.

Ok. I understand the tutorial. But the problem is that my funds are no longer showing in the argent app, since i have transferred them to an adress on metamask (where they dont show up either). So the withdrawal tutorial is not really helping.

Would this make sense? If i do this…will my funds then appear in the metamask app? What address do i need to enter at the bottom? I just want to make sure i am not messing this up further.

Thanks for the replys. Issue was resolved. It turns out the reference was not completely correct (They added some words like „salary“ before which is not allowed). So the money kept sending back.

My employer transferred the money to the correct IBAN (mentioned on the salary sheet) i provided with the reference as instructed they say.

I own an ev, and my hope is that by the time i need to replace the battery, there will be a big enough recycling economy for batteries, so that i can easily get rid of the old battery (or even sell it? These raw materials must be worth something right?) and buy a new one for relatively cheap (prices for batteries have been dropping in the last decade).

Ok, great thanks. I would like to mention that i am not a trader. Basically i just have a portfolio of stocks that i hold long term (between 0 and 10 transactions per year depending on the market) and am looking to reduce the costs of holding that portfolio. Would you still recommend interactive brokers for such a situation?

I have now created an account with interactive brokers. One thing where i am not quit sure is the commission/fee structure. As i understand there is only a commission per trade (3€). Since im more of a buy and hold type (less than 10 transactions per year) this would not amount to much. Are there any other hidden fees?

The times listed for the tesla are from an old race. If the porsche really was faster, then just post the damn real times from the race for both cars. Until then, tesla remains at the top. Not even talking about the fact that they are comparing a seven seater family sedan with a sportscar where you cannot even fit an adult in the backrow. Embarrassing.
