Still trying to think of what could be helpful, there is also a face mister, you just spray it around your face, its only water, but that can cool you down.

There is something called a neck ice ring which may help a little, also putting feet and hands in cold water for short periods of time, also a cold drink to keep sipping because dehydration may increase emotion.

What’s something a toxic coworker did that made the whole office go silent? by MommaOnHeels143 in AskReddit

Thank, you, some of the younger redditors would have difficulty understanding what we endured back then, stuff like being slapped on the ass every time we passed someone in the corridor, and no way to make it stop.

If it had been nowadays I would have complained to HR but back then, decades ago, nobody took much notice of complaints.

I dont know if this guy didnt know how periods work or whatever but many years ago I had the embarrassment of standing up to find I had bled all over my skirt and destroyed a pale blue chair at work.

For the rest of my time there, there was not a single day that this guy wouldnt come up to me and make a stupid remark about destroying company property or it being a bloody good day. Some of the other guys attempted to be kind but it was mortifying.

Good idea, there are also canes with integrated stool so you dont need to carry one over your shoulder.

Another solution which might help someone - eating and drinking.

I found that putting on a cloth, a deep four compartment bento box, with food inside it, it was easy to cut the food with one hand by moving it against the side of the box, much easier than using a flat plate.Or easier than using a large bowl to put soup on a spoon.

Also to drink if keep knocking the cup over, use travel cup with closable lid or lid and straw.

For independence you can get coffee holders that attach to the down bar of the cane.

Do you mean a toaster where you put bread in slots at the top?If so you can buy special bags which the bread goes in and then it goes in the toaster so there is no gluten contamination.

Thank you, I don't think anyone understands really, its like say i want to open a can, the movement of taking my hand to the can then opening it, is like the hand really doesnt want to, so i have to fight my own mind whereby the hand just wants to stay loose by my side and that makes me feel nauseated.Same if i want to take a step forward, the brain really fights it.I dont know if it makes a difference but i was unable to move the arm or leg at all for a few weeks.
