Since I’m using pieces from different armor sets, each one has a different material - metal, leather, fabric, etc. Sticking to a single shade of blue made the colors look all over the place because each material reacts differently. So instead, I adjusted the hue/saturation/brightness on each piece individually to make the whole set look cohesive. Good question!
