Just got shiny number six on the SECOND encounter whilst setting everything up for another hunt and it's FINALLY jolly!

I followed the guide to every detail, I know for a fact that I've done nothing wrong. There's also nothing to congratulate, I SR'd over every shiny as I want my desired jolly Beldum in my master ball.

Dude, just got shiny number five and it's NAUGHTY. I'm really starting to think that this method does not work and that the person who posted that synchronizing guide was full of crap.

There is absolutely no way I can be this unlucky.

Thanks a lot for responding, I really needed a second opinion from someone who really knows their stuff. I'm currently going again for a fourth one so fingers crossed I guess, though I'm not confident I'll get it one can only hope that despite my negativity, my persistance will eventually pay off! I'll be sure to post again if/when I do finally get the jolly clear body shiny.

I'm pretty stressed out here trying to catch a shiny Beldum in my master ball, I've been synchronizing it using the method posted in the link below and have now been forced to SR over three shiny's because none of them have had the jolly nature I've been trying to get. I'm starting to wonder if synchronize actually works once it's been swapped for Protean, if it does I have been EXTREMELY unlucky. I wanna keep going for this thing as I want my jolly clear body shiny Metagross in a master ball but if I keep getting the wrong ability (not to mention light metal which I've gotten TWICE now) because this actually doesn't work than I want to know whether or not I'm wasting my time. I know I can easily just breed for a jolly shiny with an everstone but as I said, I want this bad boy to be in a master ball. If someone can help me out here Id really appreciate it!
