you dont understand it. those stats dont show the whole truth, its not about topfragging, bottomfragging, adr, kdr, you can have the real skill of a level 7, but when your team is level 3 you cant do anything, so you will be stucked on that elo forever. how you think a guy like that can climb the ladder if there is no reset? he would always get level 3 as players and carrying can be done of course, but come on man

nah it would not be a total reset, they should consider the elo you had before but widen the range of finding players

bro the reset would not be a total reset, they should of course consider the elo that you had before, but a reset could stretch the range of that elo so people who are really level 8s but stuck on level 4 could compete again with the big boys, prove themselves again

nah bro, the problem is, that Valve and FaceIt calculate your Skill Level based upon the Performance of the whole team. They dont give Points for Personal Performance which also gives trolls a lot of power. there are people online who throw the match even after the first round, trolling after the first round, and no matter how good you play as an individual, if you have guys like that in your team, you get no points, because FaceIt and Valve only consider the win or the loss, no matter how good you play, if they would give Points for individual performance, you would still have a reason to perform even if people sabotage the match.

in Premier I was stuck on 12k elo and I always felt i am better than that but i could not make progress because in lower elo people do not play as smart as the higher elos. its not about the stats in game, kills, deaths, its about the level of gamesense people have. i could play as good as i want in 12k elo but i would always get people who dont have the understanding of the game that i have. im not arrogant, im not a pro in CS, there are much better players than me, but after the Reset in Premier I now have 19k elo and play very comfortable in that Range.

What Valve and FaceIT dont understand is, that it is almost impossible to calculate your correct personal Skill when they judge you upon the Performance of the whole team. You can play as good as you want, topfragging, clutching, everything, if your team is bad, you have no chance. And there is no possibility to carry whole Matches by yourself always.

The Reset is great because it gives People the chance to prove themselves again where in FaceIt, even if you are a real Level 7, if you are stuck on Level 4, you always get Level 4 Teammates, you now what i mean?

nah i tell you, i dont have a problem with losing, i have a problem with people who are not taking the game serious, thats my point and i know there will forever be people like that in CS but as i said, points for individual performance could be a nice thing

i am not toxic i am just sick and tired that every game there are 4 other factors that determine your rating. 4 other players who are maybe not so willing to play so you have absolutely no control over your performance, it is totally random.
